The Foundation is focused on youth ages 5 to 25 in the United States. The Foundation fund research that increases the understanding of: 1. Programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality in youth outcomes; and 2. The use of research evidence in policy and practice. The Foundation seeks research that builds stronger theory and empirical evidence in these two areas. While it does not expect that any one study will drive changes to policy or practice, the research should ultimately contribute to a body of useful knowledge for improving programs, policies, and practices to support young people.
