Programme aims to improve health outcomes by strengthening the evidence base for public health interventions in humanitarian crises through funding collaborative research. Proposals on the following themes particularly welcomed: 1) Addressing public health needs in urban humanitarian contexts e.g. public health issues related to the Syria crisis and its impact on neighbouring countries; 2) Improving the efficiency and quality of service delivery, including health system strengthening and cost analysis/cost effectiveness studies.
